In short
- Your creatures never leave your device. They are saved in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) and are not sent to any server.
- No cookies, analytics, advertising or accounts.
- The only data processed is technical: your connection's IP address, which the hosting provider logs when serving the page.

The creatures you make
The editor, the simulation and the screenshots run entirely in your browser. When you save a creature, or while you edit it (so you don't lose your work if you reload), it is stored in your browser's local database (IndexedDB) together with a thumbnail. The owner has no access to that data and does not process it. You can delete it from “My creatures” or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
When you share a creature, its data travels compressed inside the link itself, in the part after the “#”. Browsers do not send that part to the server, so the link leaves no trace there. If you share the link through a messaging app or social network, that app will process it according to its own policy.
Technical connection data
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Serving the website and protecting it against abuse | IP address and technical request data (browser, requested page, date) in the hosting logs | Legitimate interest in the security and operation of the website (art. 6.1.f GDPR) | The hosting provider's log retention period (days) |
No automated decisions are made, no profiles are built and the data is not used for advertising.
Recipients and international transfers
No data is disclosed to third parties unless required by law. The website is hosted on Netlify, which acts as a data processor and may process technical data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, object to it or request portability by writing to carlos@moralescode.com. Saved creatures live only in your browser, so you control them and can delete them yourself. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
