Terms of use
Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. What it is and how it works
Creature Factory (creature-factory.moralescode.com) is a free, experimental digital toy by Carlos Morales Aguilera for designing 3D creatures and watching them move with simulated physics. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Everything happens on your device. Creatures are saved in your browser's local storage and are never sent to any server. The owner does not receive them, cannot see them and cannot recover them: if you clear your browser data they are gone, unless you have exported them to a file.
2. Your responsibility for what you create and share
You are solely responsible for the names you give your creatures and for the links, files and screenshots you share. In particular, you agree:
- Not to use names that are offensive, incite hatred or violence, harass or defame other people, or contain personal data of third parties.
- Not to tamper with creature links or files in order to harm other users or the operation of the website.
- Not to use the tool for any unlawful purpose.
Bear in mind that the share link contains the whole creature, including its name: anyone who has it can see it.
3. Disclaimer
The tool is provided “as is”, free of charge and without warranties. To the extent permitted by law:
- The owner is not responsible for how users use the tool, nor for the creatures, names, links or screenshots they create or share.
- The simulation is a toy: it does not reproduce real physics or biology and its results are not suitable for any technical purpose.
- The owner is not liable for the loss of creatures saved in the browser, service interruptions, malfunctions or any damage arising from using or being unable to use the tool.
- The owner is not responsible for what third parties do with links or files you have shared.
Nothing above limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as that arising from wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor your rights under consumer protection law.
4. Minors
The tool is not aimed at children under 14. If you are under that age, please use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
5. Contact
If you notice any unlawful use or have any questions about these terms, write to carlos@moralescode.com.
6. Changes and applicable law
The owner may modify or withdraw the tool and update these terms at any time; the version in force is the one published on this page. They are governed by Spanish law, with submission to the courts of Granada (Spain) unless consumer protection law establishes a different jurisdiction. More details about the owner in the legal notice.
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
